our story:

Reclaimed Roots Fellowship was born out of a special bond of three families who began meeting for a small group bible study on Sunday evenings. Out of a shared weariness of some of the practices of the American church, grew a deep desire to be the church that we were intended to be by getting back to the roots of our faith. In February of 2018 Pastor Andrew Hamilton answered a call to fulltime worship ministry at Mount Auburn Church in Greenwood, Indiana. There he would become a co-worker with the church's parish relations manager, and longtime Mount Auburn Church member, Melissa Truelove. An almost instant friendship and working relationship was formed. Over the course of eight years, Pastor Andrew and his wife Stacy would get to know Melissa's amazing family including her husband Jeff Truelove, their daughter Paige Kelsheimer, Paige's husband Kaleb Kelsheimer, plus other close family members and friends.

A divine appointment in the spring of 2023 caused Pastor Andrew to approach Paige Kelsheimer and inquire about interest in joining his praise team at Mount Auburn Church. Reluctant at first, she agreed and joined the team. In March of 2023, Pastor Andrew, his wife Stacy, and Paige and Kaleb Kelsheimer would attend a Family Life Weekend Marriage Retreat in downtown Indianapolis that would spark a deeply kindled friendship between the four and would knit the Hamilton, Kelsheimer, and Truelove families together. All because of one co-worker relationship! This pattern of relationship, closeness, discipleship, and of course deep faith is what fueled the idea that led to the question, "what if we planted a church that is built upon relationships and that is firmly rooted in the truth of the gospel as from the beginning, and in Jesus Christ?" So, in the fall of 2025, after already meeting regularly as a small group, these three families began to fast, pray, and dream about the future. In the start of 2026, their response was a collective and resounding YES! The Lord began to quickly open the doors that were necessary to make this dream a reality, and Pastor Andrew and Stacy Hamilton, Jeff and Melissa Truelove, and Paige and Kaleb Kelsheimer would become the founders of Reclaimed Roots Fellowship, all for the glory of God!
