OUR Beliefs
We believe in reclaiming the roots of faith; Returning to the word, and the centrality of Christ. We aim to unapologetically declare the gospel, to be people of truth, and to proclaim righteousness. We desire to help heal the community, and to restore lives through renewed foundational faith.
the Bible
We believe that the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and
authoritative Word of God, the full revelation of His character,
and the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living.
2
THE TRINITY
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons:
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
3
JESUS CHRIST
We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ and that He was fully God
and fully man, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory.
4
Salvation
We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ
alone (Jn. 14:6), and that all who believe in Him are born again
by the Holy Spirit and become children of God.
5
baptism
Baptism by immersion shall be administered to believers as a
public declaration of their faith in Jesus Christ. Baptism services shall be conducted as determined by fellowship leadership. Individual baptisms apart from a corporate service may also be conducted if necessary.
6
marriage
We believe in the biblical construct of marriage that defines it being between one biological man and one biological woman.
7
The Lord's Supper
The Lord’s Supper shall be observed weekly as a remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice and a proclamation of His death until the time of His return. The elements shall be distributed by fellowship leadership and laypersons during worship services. Elements may also be taken to individuals who are physically unable to attend worship services.
8
Membership
Membership in Reclaimed Roots Fellowship is open to all who have confessed Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord, are committed to attending services regularly, are involved in the life of the church and agree with the fellowship’s Statement of Faith and Bylaws. Baptism is not a requirement to become a member; however, baptism is highly encouraged as a response to Christ’s salvific work.
9
CHURCH PURPOSE
The purpose of Reclaimed Roots Fellowship is to restore the
church back to its original form found in Acts 2:41-47 and to glorify God by fulfilling the Great Commission of Jesus Christ (Matt. 28:19). We aim to nurture and disciple believers through dynamic preaching and teaching of God’s Word, facilitate worship, fellowship, discipleship, and engage in outreach and service to our community and beyond.
